What are some challenges to inquiry approaches to learning?
Teachers that don't know and understand the alternative knowledge and skills required for these types of learning. Many teachers are stuck in a rut and are too closed minded to try new things. Many don't like to try to use the tools required to get the job right. Teaching this way does require better time management and problem solving skills than traditional teaching. The options to apply inquiry based teaching in real world situations need to be more varied so that teachers have more options.
